Get ready to shout, “S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y NIGHT!”
Rollermania is coming to Clifton's, a restaurant located in
Freehold, New Jersey on Thursday, June 29 at 9 p.m. Ian Mitchell’s
Bay City Rollers consists of one former Roller, Ian Mitchell. His
Bay City Rollers are actually The Cryers, a longtime band from
Freehold, who “just can’t wait” for this rockin’ concert date!
“It is a pleasure for us to perform with Ian Mitchell,” said Joe
Orlando, the leader of The Cryers. “He was a very popular Bay City Roller with a highly successful career.
His music is nostalgic and brings joy to the audience.”

The Bay City Rollers sold more than 120 million albums worldwide
during their meteoric rise to stardom during the 1970s. Some of
their many big chart-topping hits were: Saturday Night, Shangalang
and I Only Wanna Be With You, a cover of a Dusty Springfield song.
They were widely popular and top radio stations broadcast their
songs quite frequently.
Mitchell became a Bay City Roller at the tender age of 17. He
later became a founding member of Rosetta Stone and also succeeded
in completing various solo projects.
Though Mitchell resides in California he is currently staying in New
Jersey to complete a new CD with Orlando, who is producing and
lending his musicianship to this endeavor.
